With the announcement of the Panasonic project and its associated levels of activity, there is an urgent need for consulting services and proactive planning. As part of that preparation, a Strategic Plan will be developed that includes recommendations to help guide the City and stakeholders through this redevelopment and time of growth. As part of the Advisory Group, members will convene in meaningful discussions that will aid the strategic planning process.
We need people who….
- Are open-minded & willing to discuss key issues with other group members.
- Can think about the entire community - not just about one issue or geographic area.
- Are committed to the success of De Soto and its current and future residents.
- Are willing to commit their time to advisory meetings and occasional pre and post work up to one year from selection.
Application & Process:
Applications will be accepted through November 23rd, 2022 by 12pm. Final selections are expected late November and early December 2022. You will be contacted at this time via email. If selected, three (3) meetings are tentatively scheduled for the Advisory Group from December 2022 to Summer 2023.
