Unofficial results: the results show over 2/3 of voters were in favor of the sales tax renewal, so the ballot passed.
This means the overall sales tax rate will stay at 9.75%, the 3/4 of a cent sales tax will continue until 2032, and the City can use the generated funds for maintaining and creating capital infrastructure here in De Soto.
