We’re excited to welcome Rhonda Patterson as the newest member of the De Soto City Council!
A lifelong De Soto resident and current chair of the De Soto Days Committee, Rhonda has long been a familiar face in the community—and now she’s bringing that same dedication to City Hall.
“Rhonda is deeply connected to the people and traditions that make De Soto what it is,” said Mayor Walker. “She has a clear passion for serving this community, and I’m proud to have her join the Council.”
Rhonda was unanimously approved by the City Council at the June 18th meeting following Mayor Walker’s recommendation to fill the open seat left after Council Member Tripp stepped down in May. She will officially be sworn in at the July 3rd meeting and serve through the remainder of the current term, which ends in December 2027.
