Starting Monday, June 3rd, the City of De Soto will begin accepting applications for the recently-adopted Property Tax Rebate Program. This initiative aims to make home ownership more affordable by refunding up to $500 of the City’s portion of property taxes to our qualifying low-income residents, seniors, and disabled veterans.
Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 8am on June 3rd.
City staff will host several open houses in the Senior Center to assist with the application process:
- June 3rd: 4pm - 6pm
- June 7th: 2pm - 4pm
- June 15th: 10am - 12pm
